La Longère, the harmony of the modern and the old.

Our Longère is the result of a major renovation that began at the end of 2021.

Patrice was the project manager, the labourer and the decorator.

The old and the new rub shoulders, the many openings let the light in at any time of the day. The materials and colours are natural and soft.

Large spaces are available in every room.

You enter through the old cellar where a space is dedicated to wines from all over the Gironde Estuary. Then, you will be able to enjoy the small lounge reserved for guests of the B&B.

The two guest rooms are just like the house: spacious, comfortable, relaxing. Individual entry for each room is possible.

The outside is still in the making, but already you will be able to appreciate the large space with the Gironde estuary right next to it. (the largest in Europe)

With good weather, we can serve you breakfast on the terrace.

La Longère is directly on the Vélodyssée route.

La Longère is located right at the entrance to the small village of Mortagne-Sur-Gironde. You will find all the shops for basic necessities.

By bike or on foot you can reach the port where you can browse the second-hand shops and local artists. At aperitif time you can taste local products (oysters, caviar, fresh fish) on the terraces of the restaurants around the port.

Sailboats reach the estuary through the lock.

Life is peaceful here.

Dare to descend the estuary south of Royan. Come and soak up the vines, the wildlife, the migratory birds, the estuary returned to its wild nature.

Entertainment in all the surrounding villages takes place throughout the summer. (I will provide you with the calendar of events).

We are 25 minutes from Royan and Saintes, 45 minutes from the island of Oléron, 1h00 from La Rochelle or Bordeaux.
